Prison Fellowship Canada’s Angel Tree Christmas program
The Prison Fellowship Canada Angel Tree program connects church communities and individuals with families of prisoners through the delivery of a Christmas gift to a child on behalf of the incarcerated parent. Through this program, children not only receive a gift under the tree at Christmas time, but these gifts underline an important connection and bond with their incarcerated parent.
This year Runnymede United is supporting 5 children living in the Greater Toronto area and 5 children living outside the GTA (locations not confirmed as yet). Gifts have been suggested by the incarcerated parent and the amount to be spent is $40.00 per child.
If you would like to contribute to this Advent project to make a difference for a child at Christmas time, please e-transfer any amount to treasurer@runnymedeunited.org or place a cheque/ cash in an envelope on the offering plate or in the office marked “Angel Tree Christmas”. Thank you.
