Faith Lived

Small Groups

Ready to get involved?

There are so many ways to get involved with our vibrant community at Runnymede. Sunday morning worship is a time when our congregation gathers, but there are lots of other activities that happen here. One of the best ways to get to know people is by getting involved in our study series, teams, and committees.

Community in Fellowship

These are the groups where our ministry carries on outside of Sunday morning. You’ll have the chance to grow in your faith, work with others on issues you care about, and help contribute to the many initiatives of our congregation. Questions and wondering are welcome and expected and no experience is needed. Whether you are new to church or continuing a lifelong journey, you belong here.

Community in Faith

Our church has opportunities for service and learning in our committees and teams which include the following:

·  Church Board ·  Trustees

·  Stewardship ·   Finance Committee

·  Pastoral Care ·   Prayer Ministry

·  Community Meal ·  Women’s Fellowship

·  Refugee Advisory ·  Affirming Committee

Weekly Zoom Bible Study

Are you looking to deepen your relationship to the Bible but don’t know where to start alone?

Come by this online gathering each week or whenever it suits your schedule to discuss next Sunday’s scripture passages and talk about faith with others. We meet Wednesdays from noon to 1pm.

Email Laura Gallagher-Doucette with questions and/or to have the Zoom link emailed to you each week.

Famous Indigenous Speaker Series & Learning Module

In our ongoing desire to become more involved with reconciliation and our own personal growth, the Affirm Committee is offering access to the following fantastic experience.

This is a combination of online talks by famous Indigenous speakers and a short learning module. These happen once a month for ten months and are asynchronous. You can either join the speakers live on Zoom or listen any time at your leisure. The modules can be viewed at any time. You’ll be sent links to both. There will be no cost for participating. This cost is being covered through a trustee’s grant given to the Affirm Committee. For more information, please visit this website.

If you wish to participate, feel free to email your name and email to paul@thepottery.ca.
