Food Community Outreach

Building community, one meal at a time

Our program at Runnymede United Church features a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and invites community volunteers to play a vital role in our mission. By supporting and collaborating with existing local programs, we aim to foster connections and address food insecurity in our community.

Our Partners

Since our inception in 2023, Food Community Outreach has been a way to create connections and support communities. Through our valued partnership with Bloor West Food Bank and future collaborations, we work to combat food insecurity affecting those in our community.

Volunteering

Volunteers are at the heart of our program. There are various roles available, all of which may appeal to the diverse interests of our volunteers. Volunteers can choose from weekday, weeknight, or weekend shifts, dedicating a few hours a couple of times per month.
